I’ve been a personal trainer and exercises physiologist since 2011, helping clients with issues like low back pain, knee pain, and sports injuries, with low back pain being the most common. Studies show 80% of people will experience back pain at some point, often due to incorrect exercise or sedentary desk jobs. Having dealt with back pain myself during intense army training, I can relate and empathize with others.
This led me to Dr. Stuart McGill’s work, a leader in spine biomechanics and injury prevention. I studied his methods, applied them to my own recovery, and decided to help others do the same. I traveled from Singapore to Australia in 2020 to take his course and became Asia’s first Certified McGill Method Practitioner in 2023.
In addition to my expertise in low back pain, my background in sports medicine, physical therapy, corrective exercises, and strength and conditioning has helped me support clients with sports injuries, particularly knee and shoulder issues. I offer one-on-one consultations in Singapore and virtual sessions across Asia, the Indian subcontinent, and the ASEAN region.
